But innovation doesn't occur in isolation. QIAGEN have always believed that the interaction with customers and responding to their needs result in high levels of creativity. Furthermore, many and important collaborations with academia, research institutes and leading companies in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries support our internal resources. Each collaboration provides vital resources and expertise that we are able to leverage during the innovation process, often resulting in first- of- a- kind product solutions.
The recent advances made in nanotechnology look very promising for life science applications. We believe that the combination of nanotechnology and biotechnology can offer new perspectives and solutions on existing scientific and technological issues. Nanobiotechnology is beginning to generate substantial new insights into how biological systems function, and likewise, the nanobiotechnology will lead to the design of entirely new devices, systems and tools to be used in life sciences applications.
The possibility to be integrated as a associated partner in the Nano2life network offers QIAGEN the opportunity to be involved in sharing expertise, knowledge and ideas with high level researchers.
Through the informal contact, made possible by the meetings organised in Nano2life, chances arise to set fruitful collaborations between nanotechnology and biotechnology. In fact, a national funded project has been successfully set up between a Nano2Life member and QIAGEN.
To that respect, together we bring Nano to Life!
